Amphibian 50–100 mm long. Lives near water and in marshes. Feeds on insects, animal prey, plants and fish.
There are 4,742 observations of Green Frog in Québec, mostly in Outaouais, Estrie and Laurentides, and it has been reported in every region. They peak in July and August and become rare from October to April.
