The service

Kebnat is free, with no account and no ads. It may change, or stop, without notice.

An aid, not a certainty

Identification is made by an artificial intelligence model: it can be wrong. Check before relying on an answer.

Mushrooms and plants: assisted identification only. Never eat anything without an expert’s confirmation.

Content and licences

The photos, sounds and texts of the species pages belong to their authors. They are published under their licence (often Creative Commons), with their credit and a link to the original. Wikipedia texts are under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence; the base map is © OpenStreetMap, under the ODbL licence. To reuse them, follow their licence.

The Kebnat name, its logo and its design belong to Kebnat.

Acceptable use

Do not try to harm the service: no massive automated downloading, no attempt to access what is not public.

Liability

Kebnat is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, Kebnat is not liable for damages arising from its use.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply there.
