Butterfly or moth in the family Crambidae. Introduced to Québec.

There are 41 observations of Water Veneer in Québec, mostly in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Estrie and Bas-Saint-Laurent, and it has been reported in 9 of the 17 regions. They peak in July and become rare from October to May.
