Butterfly or moth in the family Erebidae.
There are 1,220 observations of Hickory Tussock Moth in Québec, mostly in Estrie, Montréal and Outaouais, and it has been reported in 10 of the 17 regions. They peak in June, August and September and become rare from October to May.
