True bug in the family Rhyparochromidae 3.7 mm long. Feeds on plants.

There are 5 observations of Thomson's groundbug in Québec, mostly in Capitale-Nationale, Chaudière-Appalaches and Estrie, and it has been reported in 4 of the 17 regions.
