Beetle in the family Staphylinidae 3 mm long. Introduced to Québec. Feeds on animal prey.

There are 3 observations of Staph beetle in Québec, mostly in Chaudière-Appalaches, Centre-du-Québec and Capitale-Nationale, and it has been reported in 3 of the 17 regions.
