Carolina phaeoceros

Hornwort 2 cm long. Grows in fields and near water.

There are 34 observations of Carolina phaeoceros in Québec, mostly in Capitale-Nationale, Bas-Saint-Laurent and Laurentides, and it has been reported in 7 of the 17 regions. They peak in October and become rare from November to June.
