There are 35 observations of Wahlenberg's pohlia moss in Québec, mostly in Nord-du-Québec, Capitale-Nationale and Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and it has been reported in 6 of the 17 regions. They peak in May and June and become rare from December to April.
