Woolly Fringe-moss

Moss 13.3 cm long. Grows in mountains and on the tundra.

There are 192 observations of Woolly Fringe-moss in Québec, mostly in Nord-du-Québec, Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Côte-Nord, and it has been reported in 5 of the 17 regions. They peak in July and become rare from November to May.
