Fungus with a cap of 3.5–5 cm. Grows in conifers. Spore print brown. Lives in symbiosis with tree roots: the fungus brings water and minerals, the tree feeds it sugars.
There is 1 observation of Greenflush Fibrecap in Québec, mostly in Lanaudière, and it has been reported in 1 of the 17 regions.
