Fungus with a cap of 4–10 cm. Grows in forests and in conifers. Spore print cream.
There are 24 observations of Pap Milkcap in Québec, mostly in Capitale-Nationale, Montérégie and Nord-du-Québec, and it has been reported in 9 of the 17 regions. They peak in September and become rare from November to July.
