Fungus with a cap of 1–3 cm. Grows in conifers and in mountains. Spore print white. Feeds on decaying organic matter.
There are 3 observations of Nitrous Bonnet in Québec, mostly in Côte-Nord and Montérégie, and it has been reported in 2 of the 17 regions. They peak in October.
