Fungus with a cap of 3–10 cm. Grows in forests. Spore print white. Feeds on decaying organic matter.
There are 1,224 observations of Turkeytail in Québec, mostly in Montréal, Outaouais and Montérégie, and it has been reported in every region. They peak from August to October, but it is reported every month.
