Annual herbaceous plant. Introduced to Québec. Grows in urban areas. Flowers in May.

There are 30 observations of Thymeleaf sandwort in Québec, mostly in Estrie, Outaouais and Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, and it has been reported in 10 of the 17 regions. They peak in May and become rare from August to March.
