Spiny plumeless thistle

Biennial herbaceous plant. Introduced to Québec. Grows in forests and in thickets. Flowers from May to October.

There are 15 observations of Spiny plumeless thistle in Québec, mostly in Montérégie, Montréal and Chaudière-Appalaches, and it has been reported in 3 of the 17 regions. They peak in July and become rare from September to May.
