There are 313 observations of Checkered rattlesnake plantain in Québec, mostly in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Capitale-Nationale and Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, and it has been reported in 15 of the 17 regions. They peak in July and become rare from November to April.
