Annual herbaceous plant. Introduced to Québec. Grows in fields. Flowers from May to November.

There are 80 observations of German chamomile in Québec, mostly in Capitale-Nationale, Montérégie and Côte-Nord, and it has been reported in 13 of the 17 regions. They peak in July and August and become rare from November to April.
