Annual herbaceous plant. Introduced to Québec. Grows near water and in urban areas.
There are 71 observations of Carpetweed in Québec, mostly in Mauricie, Outaouais and Montérégie, and it has been reported in 13 of the 17 regions. They peak in August and become rare from November to June.
