Eastern cottonwood

Perennial tree reaching 27.4 m. Grows near water and in forests. Yellow flowers, from March to April.

There are 2,181 observations of Eastern cottonwood in Québec, mostly in Montréal, Montérégie and Outaouais, and it has been reported in 15 of the 17 regions. They peak in June and July and become rare from December to March.
