Cattail Mosquito

Fly in the family Culicidae. Lives in marshes.

There are 21 observations of Cattail Mosquito in Québec, mostly in Montréal, Montérégie and Estrie, and it has been reported in 7 of the 17 regions. They peak in July and become rare from September to April.
