Canadian Lynx

Mammal 80.6 cm long. Nocturnal. Lives in forests and in conifers. Feeds on animal prey. Forages on the ground. The male and the female do not look alike. That is often what explains two very different birds in photos of the same species.

There are 108 observations of Canadian Lynx in Québec, mostly in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Nord-du-Québec and Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and it has been reported in 13 of the 17 regions. They peak in September and December, but it is reported every month.
