90–120 cmLength
3.5–6 kgWeight
Mammal 90–120 cm long. Lives in forests and in conifers. Feeds on animal prey. The male and the female do not look alike. That is often what explains two very different birds in photos of the same species.
There are 247 observations of Fisher in Québec, mostly in Outaouais, Laurentides and Montérégie, and it has been reported in 12 of the 17 regions. They peak in February and March and become rare from May to September.
