Smooth black sedge

Perennial herbaceous plant. Grows in marshes.

There are 123 observations of Smooth black sedge in Québec, mostly in Capitale-Nationale, Bas-Saint-Laurent and Côte-Nord, and it has been reported in 8 of the 17 regions. They peak in June and July and become rare from October to April.
