Annual herbaceous plant. Introduced to Québec. Grows in fields and in urban areas.

There are 135 observations of Dwarf snapdragon in Québec, mostly in Capitale-Nationale, Montérégie and Estrie, and it has been reported in 15 of the 17 regions. They peak from June to August and become rare from November to May.
