Deadly. Perennial herbaceous plant reaching 73 cm. Introduced to Québec. Grows in fields. Yellow flowers, from May to September.

There are 1,815 observations of Bird's-foot trefoil in Québec, mostly in Montréal, Montérégie and Estrie, and it has been reported in every region. They peak in June and July and become rare from October to May.
