Annual herbaceous plant. Introduced to Québec. Grows in fields and in mountains. Flowers in May.

There are 72 observations of Field forget-me-not in Québec, mostly in Capitale-Nationale, Chaudière-Appalaches and Montérégie, and it has been reported in 8 of the 17 regions. They peak in June and become rare from October to April.
