Perennial herbaceous plant reaching 20–60 cm. Introduced to Québec. Grows in forests and in fields. Blue flowers, from May to October.
There are 191 observations of True forget-me-not in Québec, mostly in Estrie, Montérégie and Outaouais, and it has been reported in 14 of the 17 regions. They peak in June and July and become rare from November to April.
