There are 182 observations of Lindley's aster in Québec, mostly in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Nord-du-Québec and Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and it has been reported in 12 of the 17 regions. They peak in August and September and become rare from November to May.
