Bird 25–31 cm long. Migratory. Lives in forests. Feeds on seeds. The male and the female look alike. A photo will not tell you which of the two you saw.
There are 180 observations of White-winged Dove in Québec, mostly in Capitale-Nationale, Côte-Nord and Chaudière-Appalaches, and it has been reported in 11 of the 17 regions.
