Vulnerable in Québec. Bird weighing 5.8 kg. Present year-round. Lives near water and on the coast. Feeds on a bit of everything, plant and animal alike. The male and the female do not look alike. That is often what explains two very different birds in photos of the same species.
There are 28,725 observations of Bald Eagle in Québec, mostly in Montérégie, Outaouais and Bas-Saint-Laurent, and it has been reported in every region. They peak in August and September, but it is reported every month.
