Mammal 9.5 cm long. Introduced to Québec, invasive and nocturnal. Lives in fields. Feeds on seeds and animal prey. Forages on the ground. The male and the female do not look alike. That is often what explains two very different birds in photos of the same species.

There are 99 observations of House Mouse in Québec, mostly in Estrie, Montréal and Abitibi-Témiscamingue, and it has been reported in 7 of the 17 regions. They peak in August and October, but it is reported every month.
