Fungus with a cap of 1–5 cm. Grows in conifers and in forests. Spore print white. Lives in symbiosis with tree roots: the fungus brings water and minerals, the tree feeds it sugars.
Observations of Fragrant Funnel peak in August and September and become rare from November to June.
