Biennial herbaceous plant reaching 0.4–1 m. Grows in forests and in fields. Flowers from June to August.
There are 31 observations of Yellow foxglove in Québec, mostly in Montérégie, Estrie and Chaudière-Appalaches, and it has been reported in 6 of the 17 regions. They peak in June and July and become rare from October to May.
