There are 1,815 observations of Harbor Seal in Québec, mostly in Bas-Saint-Laurent, Côte-Nord and Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and it has been reported in 11 of the 17 regions. They peak in August and September and become rare from November to April.
