Annual herbaceous plant reaching 20–50 cm. Introduced to Québec. Grows in fields and in urban areas.
There are 18 observations of Crimson clover in Québec, mostly in Montréal, Estrie and Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and it has been reported in 9 of the 17 regions. They peak in May, June and September and become rare from October to April.
