Bird weighing 944.6 g. Migratory. Lives in fields and on the tundra. Feeds on plants. The male and the female do not look alike. That is often what explains two very different birds in photos of the same species.
There are 8,307 observations of Northern Pintail in Québec, mostly in Montérégie, Chaudière-Appalaches and Bas-Saint-Laurent, and it has been reported in every region. They peak in April, but it is reported every month.
